A Taliban spokesman who identified himself as an "Authorized Correspondent by the Media Committee of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan" said that the Taliban will not renounce al Qaeda and that the terror group operates under the command of the "Military Command of the Islamic Emirate."
The Taliban official, Abdullah al Wazir, made the statement yesterday in response to a posting at Shumukh al Islam, a jihadist Internet forum linked to al Qaeda. Wazir was replying to a question from a forum member who thought "that by agreeing to negotiations with the United States, the Afghan Taliban has taken the 'first step' to abandon al Qaeda," said the SITE Intelligence Group, which translated the statement.
"They [al Qaeda] are among the first groups and banners that pledged allegiance to the Emir of the Believers [Mullah Omar, the leader of the Afghan Taliban], and they operate in Afghanistan under the flag of the Islamic Emirate," Wazir said.
"They are an example of discipline and accuracy in the execution of missions and operations entrusted to them by the Military Command of the Islamic Emirate," Wazir continued, calling al Qaeda "lions in war."
Wazir said he was an "Authorized Correspondent by the Media Committee of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan." SITE described Wazir as "the "Afghan Taliban's correspondent on jihadist forums."
A US intelligence official who follows the Taliban said that Wazir is a member of the Haqqani Network, the powerful Taliban sub-group that operates in eastern Afghanistan and in Pakistan's tribal areas. The Haqqanis are closely tied to al Qaeda; Siraj Haqqani, the network's operational commander, has a seat on al Qaeda's council, and he and five other members of the network have been added to the US's list of Specially Designated Global Terrorists for their close ties to al Qaeda.
The Haqqanis routinely conduct join operations with al Qaeda in eastern Afghanistan, and provide ****ter, support, and training facilities to leaders and operatives in Pakistan's Taliban-controlled tribal agency of North Waziristan.
Last fall, Siraj released a training manual which included portions that praised al Qaeda and urged Haqqani Network members to support al Qaeda both locally and in its international operations.
Wazir's statement was made just two days after the Taliban released an interview with Zahibullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, by CNN. During the interview, Mujahid refused to renounce "international terrorism" or al Qaeda. Mujahid also insisted that as an initial "confidence building measure" the US must take steps including the "exchange of Guantanamo prisoners." The five Taliban detainees currently under discussion all have been instrumental in forging ties between the Taliban and al Qaeda.

عجيب!!! الملا عمريدخل إلى المنتديات و يقرأ ما يكتب فيها؟ أما عن سؤاله: فهل سأله بالعربية أو الباشتونية و قمت أنت بترجمته؟ المرجو التوضيح. فما هي علاقة القاعدة بطالبان و ما هي علاقة طالبان بالقاعدة؟ هل بيعة القاعدة لطالبان و الملا عمر ملزمة؟ هل سيدخل الظواهري على الخط في هذه المفاوضات؟ في ضوء التحولات الآنية، هل ستتخلى القاعدة عن العمل المسلح و تتبنى العمل السلمي و تساند المظاهرات و المفاوضات؟
«الشرق الأوسط» لجأت إلى حركة طالبان لاستيضاح الحقيقة عن مفاوضات السلام ومستقبل أفغانستان إذا ما وصلت طالبان أو شاركت في الحكم، وجاء الحديث مع المتحدث الرسمي باسمها، الملا قارئ محمد يوسف أحمدي، الذي سبق توقيعه على الأجوبة بلقب «حافظ» أي أنه حافظ لكتاب الله عز وجل، والحديث مع قارئ أحمدي، المتحدث الرسمي باسم «الإمارة الأفغانية»، جاء سريعا ومتسارعا عبر البريد الإلكتروني، وكانت الأسئلة في الأساس موجهة إلى الملا محمد عمر، حاكم الحركة، ولكن حركة طالبان قالت إنه بسبب انشغالاته تم تحويل الأسئلة إلى يوسف أحمدي. وقال أحمدي إن أميركا لجأت إلى مفاوضات السلام بعد أن فشلت خلال أكثر من عشر سنوات في كسر شوكة المجاهدين، ونفى أن تكون طالبان استخدمت أموال المخدرات في تمويل الحرب الأفغانية سابقا أو لاحقا، مشيرا إلى أن التمويل يأتي من عموم الشعب الأفغاني ومساعدة إخواننا في العالم الإسلامي، وقال إن تعليم البنات إبان حكم الحركة الأصولية لم يكن صفرا، بل كانت هناك مدارس ملحقة بالمساجد، وكشف عن أن المفصولين والمستسلمين من طالبان هم الذين تفاوضوا مع حكومة كرزاي، والهدف من تلك الأخبار، على حد قوله، «هو إحباط معنويات المجاهدين».
*ما رأيكم في ما يتردد من أن الولايات المتحدة صادقت على خطة تسمح لحركة طالبان الأفغانية بافتتاح مقر سياسي لها في قطر، وتقول الصحافة البريطانية إن هذا التحرك يمثل خطوة حاسمة على طريق المصالحة مع مرور الذكرى العاشرة لهجمات الحادي عشر من سبتمبر (أيلول) 2001 في واشنطن ونيويورك؟
- نعم هذا صحيح.. بعد أن عجزت أميركا وحلفاؤها عن القضاء عسكريا على الإمارة الإسلامية اضطرت للتعامل معها، وذلك بفتح باب الحوار المباشر معها. وستقوم الإمارة الإسلامية بدورها بعد فتح هذا المكتب بما يخدم المصالح الجهادية ويضمن إنهاء الاحتلال وإحلال الأمن في أفغانستان.
* ما شروطكم الرئيسية في المفاوضات؟
سيكون من شروطنا في المفاوضات إنهاء الاحتلال وترك شؤون بلاد الأفغان للأفغان أنفسهم.

- استعد الجانب الأميركي للتفاوض مع الإمارة الإسلامية بعد أن بذل كل ما في وسعه في سبيل القضاء على القوة الجهادية المتمكنة في الإمارة الإسلامية، لكنه عجز عن تحقيق أي أمر ملموس في ذلك. والإمارة الإسلامية كانت تقول للأميركان قبل عشر سنوات من اليوم إن الحل الأمثل لجميع المشكلات يكمن في التفاوض السليم دون الرجوع إلى استخدام القوة، فاستعداد الأميركان حاليا للتفاوض واعترافهم بقوة الإمارة ومشروعية جهاد الشعب الأفغاني أمر مستحسن، وكان لزاما عليهم المبادرة إليه قبل مقتل وإصابة الآلاف من جنودهم وخسارة البلايين من دولاراتهم الضائعة في أفغانستان.

* إذا عدتم للحكم فهل ستعودون إلى استضافة «القاعدة» أم ستطردونهم بعد أن تعلمتم الدرس الذي كلفكم الحكم؟

زبدة الكلام ان القاعدة اسود في الحرب ومن اول التنظيمات التي بايعت الملا عمر ولن تتخلى طالبان عنها
